TINY CHOCOLATE MOUSSE POTS: sugar & dairy free

Let them eat chocolate!

Every one craves chocolate occasionally. Sadly, milk chocolate is loaded with sugar and dark chocolate still has some dairy and sugar, so try these healthy, tiny chocolate pots and I guarantee your taste buds will be delighted.  If you cant stop at one serve, don’t worry, they are filled with all things wonderful from natures bounty.

Cooks note: mise en place: a French cooking term, meaning, have everything in its place. This helps to keep an organised kitchen and an unflustered cook. Preparing all ingredients first, taking out the equipment you need and reading through a recipe will make cooking relaxing and fun as it should be. Put on some music, try and keep the bench space tidy and there will be less cleaning up at the end.

2 avocados, cut in half, remove seed and scoop the flesh into a small blender.

1 tablespoon white chia seeds

3 level tablespoons cacao powder

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

1/2 teaspoon ground vanilla

1 pinch sea salt

To make

Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend to quickly combine.

Spoon into serving dishes, shot glasses  or tiny pots like me.

Decorate with toasted coconut flakes, berries or cacao nibs.

Serves 4-6, depending on size of serving dishes

Bon appetite
